The Federal University of Technology Akure, FUTA postgraduate programmes/courses available for admission for the 2018/2019 academic session have been released and are available below.

Application for Admission into the FUTA Postgraduate Programmes has started. The management of Federal University of Technology, Akure is therefore advising all candidates to check if the courses they wish to apply for are available in the 2018/2019 academic session before they apply.

List of FUTA Postgraduate Courses Available For 2018/2019 Admission

Below are the lists of all FUTA Postgraduate Diploma (PGD), Masters degree (MTech, MEng, MPhil etc) and Doctorate (Ph.D) courses available to choose from.

A. HIGHER DEGREE PROGRAMMES & POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA (PGD) PROGRAMMES 

1. SCHOOL OF AGRICULTURE  AND AGRICULTURAL TECHNOLOGY (SAAT)

(i) Department of Agricultural Extension and Communication Technology (AEC)

(ii) Department of Agricultural and Resource Economics (ARE)

(iii) Department of Animal Production and Health (APH)

(iv) Department of Crop, Soil and Pest Management (CSP)

4. SCHOOL OF EARTH AND MINERAL SCIENCES (SEMS)

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D), Master of Technology (M. Tech.) and Postgraduate Diploma Programmes are available in the following Departments and Options:

5. SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT TECHNOLOGY (SMAT)

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D), Master of Technology (M. Tech.) and Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) programmes are available in the following Departments and Options:

(i) Department of Project Management Technology (PMT)

(ii) Department of Transport Management Technology (TMT)

7. COLLABORATION WITH OTHER RESEARCH CENTRES

(i) The University in collaboration with the Regional Centre for Training in Aerospace Surveys (RECTAS), Ile-Ife, Nigeria, offers Master in Geoinformation Technology (MGIT) in the following specializations:

(ii) The University also in collaboration with African Regional Centre for Space Science and Technology Education- English (ARCSSTE-E), Ile-Ife, Nigeria (affiliated to the United Nations), offers Master of Space Science and Technology (MSST) in the following Options/specializations:
