I paid at d bank for acceptance fee. the attender ( bank) wrote d wrong phone number and email( used d school’s own) under payer information. and after getting payment receipt and teller. I’ve been unable to log in due to invalid password . what can I do to rectify this mistake without paying another fee ?
urgent. pls help
Olutayo Asaolu says
@mariam, I will need you to provide answers to the questions below.
1) Did you generate an RRR Code for payment for your owns School’s Acceptance fee?
2) Are you logging into your own school account or into remita dashboard?
If Yes to question 1, Once your acceptance fee payment has been processed, you’ll need to log into your school’s account for verification since you were able to generate an rrr code yourself for payment?
Adeosun says
What other advantages do i get frm Remita?
Can i get a loan on Remita & pay installmentally??
Olutayo Asaolu says
No, Remita is just a payment gateway. They stand as an intermediary between Federal Government Agencies and People due to the TSA implemented.

Ernest Alade says
I selected the bank branch option for NSUK post graduate application. I made the payment at the bank with my RRR. But there was no way I could add this to the invoice on NSUK portal. Now my application is pending and I’m being asked to make payment. How do I link my Remita payment RRR on the portal?
Editorial Staff says
@Ernest, your school will automatically confirm the payment since they have the information about the RRR generated. Just keep calm aand your portal will soon reflect the changes.
bright says
pls do i need an RRR to make payment at bank. or i should jox carry the money to d bank to make d payment
Editorial Staff says
Hi Bright, It’s better you generate RRR following the steps above and make the payment at the bank if you cannot pay with your ATM card but going to the bank with the money might cause you a slight delay in making payment since the RRR will need to be generated for you in the bank too.
James says
Do I have to open an account with remita before I can use it to make payment?
Because despite the fact I have an account with them, it keeps giving me an error message each time I try making payments via ATM cards.
Editorial Staff says
@James, you do not need to have an account. What you need to do is to generate an rrr and use the rrr code for payment.

I generated multiple Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) will there be a problem? I paid using the first one I generated but it’s still showing not paid

EMMANUEL TAIYE says
Good day, please I made an online payment through Rimeta to FUTO in respect of Transcript Processing. Before I made the payment, I generated RRR and after which I made the payment online with my ATM Master Card. The money left my account but didn’t receive any debit alert from my bank. But the receipt sent to my email after payment is carrying another RRR. Now when I login to FUTO portal to confirm the payment so as to generate the payment receipt from FUTO portal, under Status, it is shows “Paid” but at the right hand side, it showing “Processing”.
There is another page it takes me to view the payment status so as to print out the payment receipt from FUTO portal but each time I login with the RRR I generated on the diologe box, am seeing ” RRR generated successfully” but under it still showing ” Transaction Pending”.
Please I really need assistance on how to go about it.
Thank you
Editorial Staff says
@Taye, Apologies for our late response. It ought to have been rectified by now I believe. This is a system delay and If not yet rectified, we can help you look into the situation further.
HAMZAT ABDULRAHMAN says
On my school portal (UI),I selected the fee type to pay for on the ‘payment section’, I did all process right, and the page refreshed with the remita platform and all the payment modes can be sighted including the RRR number generated for each.
Then it showed a page where I could see all my details including my institutional email,my own name,RRR,and amount. But I clicked on submit and I observed no response, and also the phone number it showed there was not mine(kind of sample) but I tried to edit but it was not responding.
Anyways I copied the RRR and I ignored the submit stuff.
I further went to pay at the bank for the 2 fees, and I received a receipt at the bank. I also received an invoice from remita on my institutional email for the payment.
But on the school portal, no sign of payment has been indicated. It’s been 30 hours now since I paid at the Bank.
It’s my first time doing this anyway, and I’m confused now.
Editorial Staff says
@Hamzat, Apologies for our late response. It ought to have been rectified by now I believe. The problem is that the system takes time to update. SO you need to give it enough time before it reflects.
