Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements
In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study International Relations under the Faculty of Administration in the above Universities include;
Mathematics and any two (2) of the following: Economics, History, Government, Geography, Literature in English and French.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
OAU requires Mathematics, Government or Economics and any from History, Geography or Literature in English.
O’Level Requirements
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study International Relations;
You require;Five (5) SSCE credit passes including English Language, Government and Mathematics and any other two (2) relevant subjects.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
(i) OAU requires five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes which must include English Language, Mathematics, Government and two (2) other subjects from History/Economics/Geography/Literature in English.
(ii) WELLSPRING accepts a pass in Mathematics provided the candidate has a total of five (5) ‘O’ level credit passes including English language, Government/History, and Economics
Direct Entry Requirements
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study International Relations, if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;Two (2) ‘A’ level passes in any of the following subjects: Government, Economics, History and French.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
(i) OAU requires plus two (2) ‘A’ Level passes in Government and Economics or History.
(ii) WELLSPRING accepts two (2) ‘A’ Level passes (including NABTEB).
