NECO BECE Timetable – The 2021 Junior School Certificate Examination (aka Junior WAEC) timetable has been released. This is for all students who will be writing the Basic Education Certification Examination (BECE).
The Exam has been rescheduled to hold between 23RD AUGUST AND 6TH SEPTEMBER, 2021.

All students that are in their third academic year at various junior secondary schools in the country are hereby informed. The JSCE exam is to transit students from Junior Secondary School 3 into Senior secondary School 1 i.e from JSS3 to SSS1.

A candidate is deemed to have passed the BECE if he/she has passes in six subjects including English and Mathematics.

The above “JSS3 Exam timetable” is for all states in Nigeria including – Abia State, Adamawa State, Akwa Ibom State, Anambra State, Bauchi State, Bayelsa State, Benue State, Borno State, Cross River State, Delta State, Ebonyi State, Edo State, Ekiti State, and Enugu State.
Other states include Gombe State, Imo State, Jigawa State, Kaduna State, Kano State, Katsina State, Kebbi State, Kogi State, Kwara State, Lagos State, Nasarawa State, Niger State, Ogun State, Ondo State, Osun State, Oyo State, Plateau State, Rivers State, Sokoto State, Taraba State, Yobe State, Zamfara State.
ABOUT BASIC EDUCATION CERTIFICATION EXAMINATION
Each state of the federation and the FCT conducts the BECE for its candidates, NECO conducts the BECE for Federal Unity Colleges, Armed Forces Secondary Schools and other Federal establishments operating Secondary schools.

Private Secondary schools also take part in the NECO BECE provided they are permitted by their State Ministries of Education. Twenty two subjects are administered at the BECE level. A candidate is expected to sit for a minimum of ten subjects and a maximum of thirteen.
