Marketing can be studied under the Administration in the following Nigerian Universities;

Subject Combination / JAMB UTME Requirements
In UTME, please note that English Language is Compulsory for this course. Therefore, the three (3) other JAMB UTME subject combination needed to study Marketing under the Faculty of Administration in the above Universities include;
Mathematics, Economics plus one (1) other relevant Subject.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
(i) COOU, UNN and UNIUYO –Same as in Banking and Finance.
(ii) EVANGEL accepts Mathematics or Economics plus any two (2) relevant Arts or Social Science subjects.
(iii) UNIJOS requires Mathematics and any other two (2) subjects from Principles of Accounts, Commerce, Business Methods, Statistics, Government or Economics.
(iv) LAUTECH requires any other two (2) Science subjects from Physics, Chemistry or Biology/Agricultural Science.
(v) RSUST and EBSU – Same as in Accountancy.
(vi) UNIZIK- Economics is not compulsory.
O’Level Requirements
The O’level subject combination and requirements needed to study Marketing;
You require;Five (5) SSCE credit passes including English Language, Mathematics and any three (3) relevant subjects.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
(i) COOU – As in Banking and Finance.
(ii) UNIJOS requires ‘O’ level credit passes in English Language, Mathematics and any three (3) subjects from Principles of Accounts, Commerce, Business Methods, Statistics, Government or Economics.
(iii) UNIPORT does not accept commercial subjects.
(iv) UNIPORT and IMSU require ‘O’ level credit pass in Economics.
(v) RSUST and EBSU – Same as in Accountancy.
(vi) UNIZIK requires Mathematics, Economics plus any other Arts/Social Science subject.
Direct Entry Requirements
These are the conditions you need to fulfill to gain Direct Entry admission to study Marketing, if you don’t intend to use UTME.
You require;Two (2) ‘A’ level passes chosen from Accounting, Management, Government and Geography.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (WAIVER) REMARKS:
(i) ABSU requires ‘A’ level Mathematics.
(ii) EBSU accepts HND/ND or NCE pass at credit/merit level in relevant programmes in addition to ‘O’ level requirements. ND must be at upper credit level.
(iii) COOU accepts ND lower credit and also require Direct Entry applicants to posses UTME requirements.
(iv) EVANGEL and DELSU – As in Banking and Finance.
(v) IMSU and UNIPORT – No Direct Entry.
(vi) UNIJOS accepts
a) Passes at A’ level/IJMB or an approved equivalent examination in Accounting, Business Management or Economics.
b) Holders of the following qualifications may also be considered for admission into 200 level: ND lower credit in Accounting, Financial Studies, Business Administration, Banking and Finance, Insurance or any other business course, from any recognized Institutions (Polytechnic, Technical Institutions, e.t.c.).
(vii) LAUTECH requires ‘A’ level passes in Economics/Business Management, Chemistry, Physics, Geography or Mathematics.
(viii) MCPHERSON accepts
a) JUPEB/IJMB/ATS (Final) of ICAN or approved equivalent in related programmes.
b) AIB or three (3) year Diploma or other professional qualifications in relevant programmes.
(ix) RSUST and UNN as in Accountancy & Banking and Finance.
(x) UNIUYO as in Insurance

i have a issue with my score in JAMB, when i first check result on my phone it was 257 and when i later check to printout it was 157 it makes me feel sad and wondering what the problem might be.

@Amos, you need to clarify what you saw on phone but also look out for institutions that has lower cut off marks. We are sad to hear that .
