This is to inform all the candidates that participated in the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), conducted by the Joint Admission and Matriculations Board (JAMB) that they can now print their original results slips online.
The original result slip is what you will need to tender during admission screening.
You can do it yourself, but you will however need to make a payment of N1,000 on JAMB portal to access and print the original result slip.

- Login to your JAMB profile through http://www.jamb.org.ng/eFacility/Login.
- Under the list of services (on the left side of the page), click on the “Print Result Slip“.
- Now click “continue with payment” to make payment via the Remita platform.
- After a successful payment, you can now proceed to printing your result slip by ‘selecting your exam year’ and entering your ‘JAMB registration Number’ in the required column.
Note: You can request your result slip to be sent to your email or be printed directly from the portal.

THE INSTITUTION
The Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma was established by the then Executive Governor of Bendel State Professor A.F. Alli. The primary objective of the University is to provide educational opportunity for the numerous youths of the then Bendel State origin who could not get places in the few Federal Universities towards the fulfillment of their educational aspiration at the tertiary level. The University found practical expression for its existence with admission of 408 students spread across the then eight (8) Colleges. The first matriculation of the first set of students was on the 8th of February, 1982.
As at today, the University has a student population of about 28,000 spread across the programmes in the School of Postgraduate Studies, College of Medicine with two Faculties and 10 other Faculties, as well as the Directorate of Part-Time Degree Programme and Institute of Education. The University is located at Ujemen, Ekpoma with an Annex at Emaudo, Ekpoma.
1. DIRECTOR, WORKS SERVICES DIVISION

The Director of Works Services Division is the Head of the Division and shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day to day administration of the Works Services Division and all Divisions’ activities in the University.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Candidates should have an Engineering qualification registerable with the Council for the regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) and the Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE) plus 18 years post qualification experience. The candidates should have at least 18 years cognate experience.

The Director of Physical Planning Division is the Head of the Division and shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for day to day administration of the activities of the Division in the University.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
The candidate must have either first or second Degree in any of the following disciplines: Building, Architecture, Quantity Surveyor, Estate Management and Engineering from a recognized Institution recognized by the respective Professional Bodies plus membership of the respective bodies with 18 years cognate experience.
3. PRINCIPAL, UNIVERSITY SECONDARY SCHOOL

The Principal of the University Secondary School is the Head of the School and shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor through the Chairman, Board of Governors of the University Staff Schools for the day to day activities of the school.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
A good Bachelor’s Degree in Education from a recognized University with at least 18 years post degree teaching experience in a reputable Post Primary Institution.

Director of Sports is the Head of the Sports Division and shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day to day administration of sporting activities in the University.
QUALIFICATION FOR THE POST
The University Director of Sports should have a Degree in Physical Education with 18 years administration and Coaching experience. A possession of a higher Degree in Administration of Sports will be an advantage.
5. DIRECTOR, UNIVERSITY FARMS

The Director of University Farms is the Head of the University Farms and is responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day to day administration of the farms.
QUALIFICATIONS

The aim of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) syllabus in Principles of Accounts is to prepare the candidates for the Board’s examination. It is designed to test their achievement of the course objectives, which are to:

Use of English
The aim of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) syllabus in Use of English is to prepare the candidates for the Board’s examination. It is designed to test their achievement of the course objectives, which are to:
(1) communicate effectively in both written and spoken English;
(2) have a sound linguistic basis for learning at the tertiary level.
The syllabus consists of two sections:

SECTION B: Lexis, Structure and Oral Forms

The Registrar, Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, Professor Ishaq Oloyede, yesterday in Lagos disclosed that JAMB’s portal for registration has not closed, adding that it will finally close its registration portal on 28th May.

How to Print JAMB Mock Exam Slips.
Through Email
- The first method to check your JAMB exam center and time is to login to your email address. Please note that you are to only login to the email address you used to register your JAMB.
- Also: Do well to check your Junk/Spam E-mail folder just in case the slip got delivered there instead of your inbox.
- If you see your Mock exam details in your email, you can proceed and print it out.
OR
- Go to JAMB Mock exam slip printing portal at https://portal.jamb.gov.ng/ExamSlipPrinting1/PrintMockExaminationSlip.
- Supply your JAMB registration number or email address in the required column.
- Finally, click on the ‘Print Examination Slip’ button to access/print your Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination slip.

- Go to JAMB mock exam centre page at http://jamb.org.ng/efacility/checkmockcentre.
- Click Log in to the portal
- Log into your account with your email address and password in the required column.
- Finally, click on ‘Check My Details’ to see your exam centre.
The Mock Examinations are intended to familiarize our candidates with the CBT systems and generally forecast the challenges that may be faced ahead in order to proactively address them. - Each candidate must have personal e-mail address and mobile phone number.
- Each candidate is to use his/her functional and valid personal e-mail address. The system would reject at the point of registration any already used e-mail address.
- Each candidate must personally create a JAMB profile on the JAMB portal through JAMB Mobile App available on Android, Windows and iOS platforms OR on the JAMB portal: www.jamb.org.ng. Name. date of birth, personal e-mail address and place of origin are required to create the profile.
- Payment for JAMB’s E-PIN-registration and the recommended reading text is done at the banks and NIPOST. Banks have also agreed to make these services available at CBT centres and JAMB State Offices.
- Each Candidate should visit any accredited CBT centre (the list of accredited CBT centres are on our website i.e. www.jamb.gov.ng) with his/her personal details, the profile and evidence of payment.
- The CBT centre or JAMB State Office, supplies, at no extra cost, the prescribed reading text and the CD containing:
- e-brochure showing guidelines on admission detailing list of tertiary institutions and available programmes of study.
- Syllabus (e-syllabus) forthe examination.
- Step by step guide on completing the application form.
- A video messages from the Registrar of JAMB and a demo on how to use eight (8) keys for UTME examination without mouse.(For candidates with little familiarity with Computers)
- Each Candidate is to complete the online application form by supplying the required details such as name, e-mail address, L.G.A., academic qualifications, etc.
- At the CBT centre, Candidate’s ten fingers biometric and image will be captured and uploaded.
- O/L and/or A/L grades are to be provided by candidates. Candidates who are awaiting result should suppIv the result online as soon as the results are available on JAMB’S Portal. No recommendations from anv Institution will be considered by JAMB if the candidate has not supplied his/her O/L result on the Portal of JAMB.
- Each Candidate is to collect his e-slip at the end of registration as evidence of registration.
- There will be no offline registration, as all the accredited CBT centres have been empowered for real life online registration. No candidate should register at any centre other than the accredited CBT centre and JAMB State office. Any candidate who is registered outside approved centres will be identified and disqualified.
Registration fee for the 2017 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination or Direct Entry is Five Thousand Naira (₦5,000) Candidates are also, as usual, to pay Five Hundred Naira (₦500) only to obtain the reading text- ‘In Dependence’ for UTME candidates and ‘‘The Last Days at Forcados High School’‘ for Direct Entry Candidates.
Candidates should note that e-PINS being purchased are tied to individual profile and are not transferable.
Candidates are advised to keep as confidential their security details such as registration numbers, password/numbers of ATM Cards, e-mail addresses and E-Pins.
As it is the practice, centres are allowed to charge not more than Seven Hundred Naira (₦700) only as registration Any centre that charges more than Seven Hundred Naira (₦700) should be reported to JAMB for appropriate sanctions.
2017 JAMB UTME Date and Venue.
- The 2017 CBT will commence on
6th May to 20th May, 2017Saturday 13th to 20th of May 2017. - The venue of the examination will be at the candidates’ chosen town during on-line registration.
JAMB General Entry Requirements.
The general entry requirements for admission into the First Degree, National Diploma (ND), National Innovation Diploma (NID) and Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) programmes in Universities, other Degree-Awarding Institutions, Monotechnics, Polytechnics, Innovation Enterprise Institutes and Colleges of Education are available in the e- Brochure which would be given to each Candidate at the accredited CBT centres and JAMB state offices.
General Information
- The registration fee, once paid is non-refundable.
- Registration for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) is available at the CBT centres and JAMB Offices The accredited centres have been empowered to assist in this regard.
- As it is the practice, centres are allowed to charge not more than Seven Hundred Naira (₦700) only as registration Any centre that charges more than Seven Hundred Naira (₦700) should be reported to JAMB for appropriate sanctions.
- All CBT centres have been mandated to select any of the participating These banks are to be presentin their premises for the purposes of collecting all fees. No centre-staff is allowed to conduct cash transaction with the candidates.
- Candidates are advised to read and understand the guidelines on admission and instructions on how to complete the online registration before commencing the process of registration.

- Candidates are warned that the Board has not authorised or solicited the services of ANY establishment/group or individual other than the accredited CBT centres for this registration exercise.
